The Shreveport Convention Center is a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate any event, from major conventions and trade shows to intimate gatherings such as wedding receptions and banquets. The facility features more than 350,000 square feet of meeting space that can be tailored to any groups needs.

The Shreveport Convention Center is professionally managed by SMG, the world leader in private management of public facilities. Founded in 1977, Philadelphia-based SMG currently manages more than 200 facilities, including convention centers, stadiums, arenas and performing art theaters.

SMG, the world leader in venue management, marketing and development, was founded in 1977 with the management of our first facility, the Louisiana Superdome. We soon grew to manage convention centers, exhibition halls and trade centers, arenas, stadiums, performing arts centers, theaters, and specific-use venues such as equestrian centers.
