The Shreveport Center is currently seeking part time data entry/ ticket sellers. Under immediate supervision, responsibilities include processing ticket sales, and exchanges at the facility's box office.
Process ticket sales at the box office and assist with group sales when requested.
Position Summary: Provides professional client services support in the planning, organization and management of events within the facility, and monitoring the logistics of these events, and all event coordination tasks after events are booked through the conclusion, by performing personally or through subordinates the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Meets with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events. * Coordinates activities with the various service contractors for assigned meetings and/or events. * Guides clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies and procedures. * Keeps clients informed as to status of deadline schedules, including but not limited to floor plan submissions, meeting room set-up specifications, insurance requirements and other relevant details. * Prepares cost estimates and monitors final billing. * Provides clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed requirements to operational departments. Assists in scheduling operational set-ups to provide equipment or services needs. Monitors and supervises facility set-up when necessary. * Assists in training event services staff. * Serves as primary liaison between clients and facility departments. * Monitors in-house events, maintaining close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events. Follows-up on all client requests, concerns, and problems. * Attends appropriate planning, organization and other event and facility meetings in support of facility operations. * Serves as manager on duty as required. * All other necessary duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL EFFORT This position requires stooping and lifting. Substantial standing, walking and lifting. Must be able to lift 30 lbs to the waist.

POSITION: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR REPORTS TO: Director of Operations FLSA STATUS: Salaried Exempt
Position Summary: Responsible for directly supervising operations staff in preparing facility for scheduled events, cleaning of facility following events and other duties as assigned.
Major Responsibilities: * Supervises set-up/tear-down of meeting rooms. * Supervises set-up of risers, chairs and stage for concerts etc. * Supervises clean up of convention or trade show floor. * Supervises booth and floor clean up during event. * Responsible for stock and equipment inventory. * Responsible for equipment upkeep and repair. * Perform basic operational duties as a working supervisor. * Responsible for hiring steps including interviewing, assistance with new hire paper work and shift placement; Also responsible for preparing separating documentation and all supporting materials as needed. * Responsible for administering immediate disciplinary actions including dismissing employees from active duty for department violations/procedures; works directly with operations management and human resources in coordinating disciplinary action in verbal, written and other relating disciplinary matters. * Responsible for payroll process and scheduling. * All other necessary duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Knowledge: Should possess working knowledge of stage, riser and chair set-up for varied events. Must be knowledgeable in commercial cleaning procedures, including operation of driver-controlled floor scrubber. Must be fork lift certified.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Prepares facility for show including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assigned. * Performs exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, and sidewalks. * Cleans interior and exterior glass. * Uses equipment as required upon completion of training in safe manner and as directed by operational standards. * Disposes of all waste, including bulk trash removal from hall and participates in recycling program as required. * All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Summary:Under the direction of the Sr. Security/Parking Manager, ensures the safety and security of all SCC/SMG tenants, patrons and employees through the enforcement of the security policies and procedures governing the use of the facility and appropriate surrounding property.
Assist the SCC security activities in such a manner as to ensure the highest possible level of security and comfort to all tenants, patron, and employees.
Promote customer service, positive public relation approach to the execution of his/ her duties and within the security staff.
Assist with planning the service and operational work requirements of the security department. Obtaining optimum and most economical use of manpower and equipment. Obtains adequate fact and data, such as scheduled events and number of participants, to determine service needs.
Enforce security and SCC policy and procedures such as standard operation procedures and the safety and security plan as outlined by the Sr. Security/Parking Manger.
Keep superior informed of any performance and/or problems, and recommends improvement and/or changes as needed.
Assist with difficult, high priority, sensitive or emergency operational task, as dictated by the Sr. Security/Parking Manager.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating security operations to ensure resources are productively utilized and adequate work quality standard are maintained.
Identifies problems in the quantity and quality of work within the security department and take prompt and effective corrective action.
Assist with on training to ensure the over all performance of all security employees.

Experience / Training /Education:Required: High school diploma, security experience, able to work long hours as well as holiday and weekends. Desirable: Any amount of supervisory experience.
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:Knowledge of Criminal law as it relates to the parameters of security enforcement. Ability to learn Policies and Procedures of SCC/SMG Security Department.
